Just offshore, inside Banderas Bay, lies a group of small volcanic islands, known as the Marieta Islands. These islands, made famous by Jacques Cousteau oceanographer, provide the perfect setting for a fun eco adventure, full of adrenaline touches. An experience with wildlife above and below the water.
What you can do?
Upon arriving at the Islands they have the opportunity to snorkel and visit the Playa Escondida or Love, the Nopalera besides other amazing caves. The Marieta Islands tour is recommended for the whole family. You can enjoy time at the Escondida Beach and the other beaches, do bird watching and marine fauna (manta rays, dolphins, jellyfish, an infinite variety of colorful fish and more). Watching the humpback whale. From mid-December to late March, Banderas Bay offers a great opportunity to see the 5th largest and most spectacular whale in the world.
What is included?
Transfer from your starting point (if you have own vehicle and makes it more comfortable can follow us on caravan), bracelet access to Marieta Islands National Park, Tentenpie (water and fruit), optional Food + $ 150 .-, snorkeling equipment and life jacket.
The tour of Punta de Mita, is made in boats with a capacity of 8 passengers and a guide. Bracelet includes entrance to the National Park, lifejackets for all crew, water and fruit, snorkel gear for access to Playa Escondida and other not have any extra charges.
